The National Defense Science and Technology Industry Large Torque Level 1 Metrology Station (hereinafter referred to as the Torque Station) is the earliest professional institution in my country to engage in torque technology research. For a long time, it has been providing measurement, testing and product services for weapons and equipment. It has a history of more than 40 years. Now, the Torque Station has been engaged in equipment development, production, testing for the national defense science and technology industry, troops and national economic construction, and has carried out all-round and full-life torque value transmission services for the user units to ensure the accuracy of the torque value of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the national defense science and technology industry system, and the national economic construction.

Shaft power test case 1:
Valve mechanism speed, torque and power test
Customer: China North Engine Research Institute (70th Institute)
The valve mechanism consumes energy as a load in actual work. During the product design stage, only the power consumption was simulated and calculated without actual verification. The design results were verified and optimized by monitoring the actual power in the bench test.
Shaft power test case 2:
Thruster start speed, torque and power test
Customer: Rolls-Royce
The thruster is driven by a motor, and the start mode is star-turn two-angle. During use, the intermediate gearbox gears often knock, the gear spacing increases, and then abnormal noises occur. By monitoring the speed, torque and power of the motor output shaft during the start process, it is found that the shaft system has a large impact torque when the start mode is changed. This impact torque is very likely to cause the above phenomenon, thus finding the root cause of the equipment failure.

Super-large fin stabilizer actuator prototype loading test strain test

The fin stabilizer actuator is the key to the comfortable operation of the ship. Safety and reliability are important considerations. In the actuator bench test, resistance strain gauges are pasted on key sensitive parts.
Monitor the stress changes after loading, thereby verifying the design strength and ensuring the reliable operation of the equipment.

The controllable pitch propeller device is the output part of the ship power, and the hub is an important part. How to optimize the design has always been a major issue of concern to designers. In the hub bench test, resistance strain gauges are attached to key sensitive parts to monitor the stress changes after loading, so as to verify the design strength.
Shaft torsional vibration test case
Diesel generator set shaft torsional vibration test
Customer: Generator unit division
During operation, the shaft rotation of the diesel engine is uneven, which causes shaft torsional vibration. When the vibration amplitude exceeds a certain value, it will affect the shaft safety and transmission efficiency. Before the oil-dyed generator set leaves the factory, by monitoring the oil torsional vibration, it can be determined whether the torsional vibration of the unit is within the design range.
